This is my new personal fun/business blog so I guess that means that pretty much any topic is fair game here.
I like that idea. What that means to me is that anything can be talked about here that is of a decent nature and is G rated. As long as the fun is clean and the business talk is straight -shooting, we will hopefully learn a lot of good things from each other now and in the future.
My first post on this brand new blog is about shopping sites and the tremendous wealth of information that they have. I have spent a LOT of time browsing MANY shopping sites because I like to, well, SHOP. (LOL) To go shopping online (for me anyway) is fun and I justify the time spent by calling it “investigative snooping” for my e-commerce sites.
A lot of the shopping sites have a bank of keywords (along with their popularity rating and/or search count) made available for us affiliate/IM/Article-Marketing types to use. And in the case of new products, many – if not most – times the shopping sites are the places to go to get the upper-hand gouge on what is being searched for in the present time.
This is especially helpful whenever you are updating or building a new store site and you want to know what the hottest products are right now!!
The Christmas season is just around the corner for a lot of people. For those of us who have Christmas Stores, Toy, and Gift sites, this is an extremely busy time of the year.
4 months ago, I wrote a short guide called Where To Shop For Hot Niches. In it I talk about and show some of my favorite spots to get good, updated niche ideas for hot niche products.
This book is free and you don’t even have to sign up to get it. Just download it from the page at Where To Shop For Hot Niches.
Yea, I have been told a LOT that I am doing this wrong by allowing everyone to down-load the resource without having everybody go through the double opt-in process first. However, there is a place just below the red download button where anyone who wants updates and free resell rights can sign up to get them.
So I see this as a good thing. Peers, potential future JV partners, and customers can opt in to get future communications and offers (both free and otherwise) from me while at the same time they get the resell rights to Where To Shop For Hot Niches. And all of this is done with no pressure. It’s kind of nice to know that maybe most everyone that has opted-in for my list has done so because they like my product. And not because the only way to get it was by signing up.
I may be totally way off base by thinking this way but I have actually made some aquaintances already through my free book. A few IMer’s have contacted me to tell me they like the product and want to offer it to their members and customers. That has been really nice to hear.
Anyway, when you get the time, go to Where To Shop For Hot Niches and get your free copy and if you like it, sign up for the resell rights. I have recently changed the rights to include full give-away if you want to go that route even.
Cheers, Denice
